    Sour Cream Nut Bread

    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1 well beaten egg
    1 cup dairy sour cream
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped

    Mix sugar, egg and sour cream. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 7 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
