    Italian Roast

    1 roast, any size
    1 clove garlic, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    1 cup chili sauce
    1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon oregano
    1 quart tomatoes
    2 basil leaves
    1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Flour roast and put garlic sections in slits of roast. Set roast into a large cast iron Dutch oven. Mix other ingredients and pour over roast. Cover and bake until a fork goes easily through the meat or until meat is done to your taste, adding water to keep moist as roast is cooking.
