    Cloud Biscuits

    These are very light and delicious.

    2 cups sifted flour
    1 tablespoon granulated sugar
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 beaten egg
    2/3 cup milk

    Sift dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Combine egg and milk with a fork. Add to first mixture. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 to 14 minutes.
